I have a 2006 E90 330d SE. The dampers will make the most difference. I found the OE ones had a small window where they worked ok - very load/temperature sensitive - especially with RFTs. I had Koni FSDs fitted with the oe springs at first (100k - 115k miles) as ride quality was my priority as the suspension was making long journeys tiresome.
