The M6 GT3 is powered by a race modified 4.4-liter V8 engine with BMW Motorsport M TwinPower Turbo technology. The engine pumps out a respectable 585 hp to the rear wheels via a transaxle six-speed sequential racing transmission. That is slightly less than the road-going ‘Competition’ branded M6.

Efficient, the default setting, is the most economical, and Sport Plus is the most extreme of the three. In both Sport modes the exhaust flaps widen and the engine sound becomes much more intense Spanish. The curtain is raised on the BMW M4 GT3 in its new BMW M Motorsport design: ahead of the Nürburgring 24 Hours (GER), BMW’s new GT flagship was revealed in its new livery, heralding the final phase of testing.
