NOTE: The injectors are in the physical order, NOT firing order. Injector Programming (TDCi Engines) This function is required by service centres when an Injector needs to be replaced, or there is a driveability problem. For 1.8 TDCi and 2.0 TDCi engines the each injector has a 16-digit calibration code stamped on the body.

I have a Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec - Y Reg2001. It has 123k miles on the clock. It has a problem with cold starting. It may fire and then die or it may turn and not fire. We have so far replaced the plugs, oil and filter (5w/30), crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, battery, air filter, a vacuum hose (for an idle/stalling problem).

Well, everything is clear, you have the first generation tdci injection system and since it is overflowing in the injector, it is pouring fuel during start-up, it does not make sense to measure it anymore, because the pressure during start-up will definitely be around 12 bar, or 12000kPa, that's as much as the injection pump feeds the fuel and

Owned my 2006 focus 1.8 TDCI Titanium for hust over a year now, no problems what so ever until this week, Car starts as normal but then cuts out after moving around 10ft then will not re-start and shows engine system fault message, eventually does re start after trying a while and drives perfect, and will re start fine when engine is not cold
